Tauheed Epps also goes by the name 2 Chainz. He is an American rapper. He is a native of Georgia He started his career in music by forming the hip hop duo Playaz Circle, along with a high school friend. The group's debut album, 'Supply & Demand It was a mixed success. Epps followed that with 'Based on an T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It was an enormous hit and debuted at the top spot on the US Billboard 200. The album sold 147,000 copies within the first week. He hasn't looked back since the album's release and has since risen to be one of the most respected American rappers. He's been shortlisted for six Grammy awards so far and has won one, for his song "No Problem". In 2013, he sparked controversy after he was found with promethazine and marijuana on a departure flight from Los Angeles International Airport. But, his experiences in the legal system haven't impacted his popularity. The fourth studio album of his, "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music", was released in June of 2017. "Based on the T.R.U." Story', 2 Chainz's debut studio album, could be described as his debut album and also his most popular. It was a huge success and reached the first place in the US Billboard 200. In just one week, it had sold 147,000 copies. The album was sold out to 623,000 over a year. The album had hit singles including "No Lie" and 'Birthday Song. I'm Different was nominated in the 55th Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album. The reviews were not all positive. 2 Chainz married Kesha Wade in 2013. The couple has three children, Heaven, Harmony, and Halo. He is known for his bad habits and his successful career. He's been detained several times for possession of drugs.
