Mila Kunis Bio
Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi, Ukraine on the 14th of August 1983. Kunis immigrated to Los Angeles with her parents Elvira (her parents) and Mark (her older brother), at the age of seven. It was an uneasy beginning for the Kunis family that came to their new home with only $250 in their pocket. Kunis' parents both quit their jobs to help their children. Mark an ex-mechanical engineer found work quickly as a driver for taxis. Elvira, who was an instructor of physics in Ukraine was eventually in charge of a pharmacy. Kunis acknowledged that he did not understand American culture at first. "I didn't understand the people. I couldn't comprehend the language. The first sentence in my essay for admission to college was like"Imagine being blind and deaf at age 7.' It was similar to moving to the States. However, I came through it fairly quickly." Milena Markovna Kunis was daughter of Mark Kunis (Ukraine) and Elvira (Chenivtsi), Ukraine. Her birth date was on the 14th of August, 1983. She has a brother who is older. Her mother works as an Physics teacher and her father owns an pharmacy. His father is a mechanical engineers by profession. The family relocated to Los Angeles in seven years. Rosewood Elementary School was her primary school. When she was nine, she started taking acting lessons. After auditioning for several commercials, she became an actor in her first appearance on television on Days of Our Lives’ in 1994. The first time she was cast on the 1998 sitcom That ’70s show’ as Jackie Burkhart. Her performance was praised by the critics. In 1999 she was cast in the role of Meg Griffin on the animated sitcom Family Guy.
