American actress Elizabeth Leigh Vassey, born September 9, 1972 was born on August 9, 1972. She is an American. She is famous for her performances in the roles of Emily Ann Sago, Captain Liberty and Captain Liberty in All My Children and in The Tick. Wendy Simms, in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2001, Wendy Beaumont in Nikki & Nora in Nikki & Nora. Vassey played the role of a teenage Emily Ann Sago on the soap drama All My Children from 1988 to 1991. Vassey appeared as a regular actor in the television series Tru Calling from 2004 to 2005 as Dr. Carrie Allen. Vassey played Wendy Simms' recurring role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation from 2005 to 2010. Starting with the tenth season, Vassey was promoted to an actor on the regular roster and started appearing in the show's opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported June 1 the 1st of June, 2010 that Vassey will not be returning for the show's 11th season. Vassey made an appearance in an episode of the season. Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, along with co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company known as Neurosis to the T(ee) that makes and sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans are humorous and poke fun at women's anxieties and fears that often refer to relationships.
