Sarah Hyland
Sarah Hyland was born in New York City to actors Melissa D. Canaday and Edward James Hyland. She started her career in the industry at age 4 when she began doing voice overs and commercial work. Her first film was Private Parts (1997). The Object of My Affection (1998) followed by Another World (1964) where she was "Rain Wolfe", a child discovered in a park, who was taken care of and nurtured by Josie. Sarah continued to work alongside Amy Carlson ("Josie") at least twice: Falcone (2000) and Law & Order (1990), as well as Law & Order: Trial by Jury (2005). Sarah was selected to play the role of "Audrey Hepburn" in Jennifer Love Hewitt's The Audrey Hepburn Story (2001). The same year, she also chosen to play "Molly” in ABC’s The Wonderful World of Disney: Annie (1999). It starred Kathy Bates, Audra Mcdonald, Victor Garber, Kristin Chenoweth, and Joe Gould's Secret (2000), and Falcone (2000). Aside from all of her TV and film roles, Sarah studied voice, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, Theatre Dance, and performed with her tap and Theatre dance classes at "Reel to Real" at Lincoln Center as invited performers.A born in New York and raised there, Sarah spent much of her time working in television, film, and also voicing numerous radio ads and also traveling with her father Edward James Hyland, while he worked at many different theaters in the country. She was raised by her mother until she reached the age of two years older. She then went to the public school. Sarah was accepted in 6th grade to PPAS (Professional Performing Arts School) and stayed there until 2008 when she graduated. When Sarah was 18 when she was 18, she relocated to Los Angeles, CA and, within two weeks, was able to get a pilot name "My American Family". After she was accepted, the name was changed into Modern Family (2009). As of now, Sarah portrays "Haley Dunphy" who is the eldest Dunphy child. Modern Family (2009) has won multiple awards most notably the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series.
