Genesis Rodriguez

Genesis Rodriguez was conceived in Miami, Florida. She is the daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez who is a famous Venezuelan singer and actor and Carolina Perez, a Cuban model. There are two half-sisters to her. She studied at the Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami. Rodriguez was an actor from at an early age. She attended summer classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and began her own acting classes. Rodriguez was a prominent character in Spanish television shows which included Dame Chocolate (2007), Dona Barbara (2008) and Prisionera (2004). Also, she was a character on Sarah in the popular show "Entourage" (2004). Man on a Ledge (2012) and What to Expect When you're expecting (2012) are some films she has worked on. Jose Luis El Puma’ Rodriguez's daughter. Half-sister to Liliana Rodrigo and Lilibeth Moillo. On the The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (January 9, episode, 2013), she mentioned her name as Genesis in honor of the British rock group Genesis. She is of Venezuelan as well as Cuban descent. Rosie Perez was the daughter of Lydia Perez, a merchant marine and Ismael Serano. She was born in Bushwick Brooklyn, New York City. Rosie is Puerto Rican.
