Natasha Henstridge

  

Natasha Tonya Henstridge (born August 15th, 1974) is a Canadian model and actress. After her 1995 debut in the sci-fi thriller Species II She was a star in Species III. She has since appeared in a variety of TV and film shows that include Maximum Risk (1996), The Whole Nine Yards (2000), The Whole Ten Yards (2004), Ghosts of Mars (2001), She Spies (2002-2004), Eli Stone (2008-2009), and Would Be Kings (2008). She won the Gemini Award as Best Actress for this film. She has been starring on the CBC Television series Diggstown since the year 2019. Henstridge was a Springdale, Newfoundland and Labrador native. She was born to Helen Henstridge (a homemaker) and Brian Henstridge (a construction manager and businessman). She was raised in Fort McMurray Alberta with her younger brother Shane. Henstridge was 14 years old when she participated in the Modeling Agency of Casablanca's Look of the Year competition and was picked as the first runnerup. To pursue her modeling ambitions she travelled to Paris within the following year. When she was 15, she was featured on the cover of her debut magazine which was the French edition of Cosmopolitan. Henstridge covered a variety of magazine covers more in the following years, before she started to make commercials on television for products such as Olay (Old Spice), Lady Stetson (Lady Stetson) and others. Once her modeling career was well established, Henstridge started doing commercials and decided she preferred acting.
