Rose McGowan

"Rose") McGowan was born September 5 7th, 1973. She is an American
actress. McGowan's first film role was in the comedic Encino Man (1992), but
she earned more recognition due to her part in The Doom Generation (1995) in
which she was awarded an Independent Spirit Award nomination as Best Debut
Performance. McGowan first appeared in the horror movie Scream in 1996. Later,
she was the star of Jawbreaker (1999), Devil in the Flesh (1998), and Going All
the Way (1997). McGowan's character as Paige Matthews on the WB supernatural
drama Charmed (2001-2006) was the most well-known part of her career. McGowan
was also the main character in Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's
double-feature film Grindhouse (2007) which for which she received nominations
both for the Saturn Award as Best Actress as well as the Scream Award as Best
Scream Queen. The album she released her debut album on, Planet 9, was released
in the year 2018. It was followed by a re-release of Planet 9 in 2020. In 2017,
Time recognized McGowan as one of the Silence Breakers, the magazine's Person
of the Year, for speaking out about sexual assault and harassment particularly
in relation to the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse cases as well as the Me Too movement.
Brave is her autobiography. Citizen Rose was her documentary series. Both of
these were released in 2018.
